Job Description:

This RN position in the Emergency Department offers an engaging opportunity for experienced travelers to step into a fast-paced setting managing a wide variety of critical cases. You'll be working scheduled 12-hour mids shifts from 14:30 to 03:00, providing direct nursing support for patients of all ages—from newborns to geriatrics. The role involves managing complex conditions such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, and cardiac arrest, utilizing specialized equipment like rapid infusors and Arctic Sun devices. It’s a chance to apply your PEDS experience and critical care skills in a busy 64-bed ED environment. This assignment is perfect for nurses ready to handle high acuity cases, with floating required across the department to ensure comprehensive patient coverage. Attention to documentation and compliance with all licensure and certification requirements is essential, making this a rewarding yet challenging role.
