Job Description:

Join a dedicated surgical oncology team at a well-established medical center for a 13-week contract. As a Medical-Surgical RN specializing in Oncology, you will work 12-hour day shifts, providing care to complex patients with crossover needs spanning GI, GU, and general surgery. This assignment offers the chance to sharpen your assessment and critical thinking skills in a setting where experienced staff and a supportive manager foster professional growth. You'll be involved in managing chest tubes, epidurals, ostomies, and post-operative care, including patients recovering from Whipple procedures. Expect to float within the campus based on skillset, with minimal cross-campus shifts. The role is ideal for resilient, adaptable nurses comfortable navigating complex cases in an environment with a strong team and a focus on patient safety.
