Job Description:

Join a notable healthcare team as a Neuro Surgical MS RN on a 13-week contract at Deaconess Gateway. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, covering a variety of neuro and neuro-surgical cases such as CVAs, elective spine surgeries, post-cranial surgeries, and cerebral angiograms. You’ll be expected to perform comprehensive neuro assessments, NIHSS/dysphagia screening, and manage tasks like IV insertions, foleys, blood administration, and NG tube care. The position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced staff in a teaching hospital environment, with some cross-campus float potential. This assignment is perfect for resilient nurses with at least two years of neuro experience, strong assessment skills, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting.
