Job Description:

Join a rewarding travel assignment on the beautiful island of Kauai as a Physical Therapist. This role involves a mix of inpatient, outpatient, ICU, and SNF settings, with a primary focus on evaluations and treatments. Expect to perform thorough mobility assessments and develop individualized care plans for diverse diagnoses, including work in emergency rooms, intensive care units, and hospital-based outpatient clinics. The schedule features 8-hour days, with a typical patient load of 5 to 15 per day, including comprehensive evaluations every hour and new evaluations every 30-45 minutes. Independence, resourcefulness, and the ability to adapt to a rural setting are essential, as you will handle a variety of cases across different hospital departments, requiring a broad skill set and proactive approach to discharge planning. This is a unique opportunity to experience rural Kauai’s healthcare environment while honing your clinical skills in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Hawaii licensure is required for this assignment.
