Job Description:

Join our team as a Cath Lab Rad Tech in Charleston, SC, working in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center renowned for its teaching environment and Magnet recognition. This 13-week contract offers a weekday day shift from 07:00 to 15:30, giving you the chance to be hands-on with pediatric and adult catheterization procedures, including transplant biopsies, ballooning, stenting, and valve placements in a setting with two Cath lab rooms. You'll play a key role in supporting complex case types, often working alongside experienced clinicians. On-call duties are part of the package, with 8-10 shifts per month covering weekends, adding an extra layer of responsibility and variety to your schedule. This assignment is perfect for a registered technologist with at least one year of cath lab experience, holding current certifications in PALS, BLS, and ACLS from the American Heart Association, with additional certifications like RCIS or SCRQSA preferred. Radiation badges are required, and local candidates within a 60-mile radius are considered, with a slight pay reduction for local hires. The facility permits one day off every two weeks, and RTO requests should be submitted upfront for approval.
