Job Description:

Join a busy Cath Lab team in El Paso, TX, for a 13-week contract as a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse. This role involves supporting urgent STEMI cases, vascular emergencies, pacemaker and Impella insertions, balloon pump placements, and interventional radiology procedures. The schedule features five 8-hour days starting between 6:00 and 8:00 am, with an on-call requirement that demands readiness within 30 minutes. Your expertise in IR procedures, especially in interventional radiology and neuro IR, will be essential. This position offers a supportive environment for experienced travel nurses looking to make an immediate impact in a facility equipped for complex cardiac and neuro interventions. Prior IR and cardiac cath lab experience are mandatory to ensure safe and efficient patient support during high-acuity cases. UMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center, providing a dynamic setting for skilled RN professionals.
