Job Description:

Join a dedicated Progressive Care Unit team in Hilo, Hawaii, where you'll be responsible for providing primary nursing care, telemetry monitoring, and interpreting telemetry strips in a 15-bed unit that includes step-down ICU and telemetry areas. This role involves day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with scheduled 36 hours per week over 13 weeks. As a traveler, you'll have the opportunity to float to other acute units including Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER, gaining diverse clinical experience in a friendly island setting. Please note that Hawaii licensure is required prior to start, and ACLS/PALS certification is preferred. This assignment offers meaningful work in a beautiful location, with the chance to make a real impact in patient care while enjoying the tropical surroundings.
