Job Description:

Join a busy surgical acute unit in Peoria, IL, as a registered nurse working 12-hour night shifts for a 13-week contract. You will be responsible for post-op surgical patients, providing critical care, dressing changes, wound care, IV therapy, and pain management. This position requires quick critical thinking and a team-oriented approach, with opportunities to manage complex cases involving drains, NG tubes, central lines, and TPN. You will work alongside charge RNs, nurse aides, and telemetry techs, ensuring seamless patient care during overnight hours. The setting offers an engaging experience for RNs comfortable managing high patient acuity and collaborating within a fast-paced environment.
