Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse role offers a unique opportunity to work with adult to geriatric patient populations in a dedicated oncology setting. You will be responsible for managing patients diagnosed with various oncologic conditions, from initial diagnosis through treatment and end-of-life care. The position involves administering chemotherapy, managing complex medication infusions such as morphine and DILAUDID drips, operating CADD and PCA pumps, and responding to oncologic emergencies. You'll work a 12-hour night shift, providing essential care during the overnight hours, with every other weekend off. Floating within the facility and to nearby Piedmont Augusta Summerville may be required, offering a chance to diversify your experience while maintaining a stable routine.
