Job Description:

This medical-surgical registered nurse role offers a chance to work with adult to geriatric patient populations in a hospital setting with a mix of classic and remote telemetry cases. You’ll be covering 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on a rotation schedule, providing critical support to a 33-bed unit with an average census of 28. Patients may present with diagnoses such as diabetes, post-op recovery, wounds requiring vacs, or bariatric conditions. The assignment presents an opportunity to master Epic and Pyxis systems, while navigating a patient ratio of 1:5-6. Expect to participate in unit handoffs using SBAR and to wear navy blue scrubs. Floating within the facility as needed ensures variety and an adaptive work environment. This role is ideal for those looking to expand their experience in a busy hospital setting while engaging with diverse cases and working every other weekend and select holidays.
