Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week assignment in a MedSurg/telemetry unit specializing in acuity care. You'll work in a 22-bed floor that includes general, ICU, and LDRP units, providing care for mainly geriatric and adult patients with conditions like COPD, CHF, pneumonia, abdominal pain, minor surgeries, SBO, and COVID-19. The role involves managing titratable drips such as heparin, interpreting EKG strips, and collaborating with charge nurses and house supervisors. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with flexible self-scheduling and every other weekend on call. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to refine your skills in a specialized yet supportive environment, with a focus on patient acuity and interpretation of clinical data.
