Job Description:

Join the fast-paced environment of the emergency department at Wesley Derby ER in Derby, Kansas, for a 13-week travel RN contract. This role requires experienced ED nurses to handle a low to moderate acuity patient load, averaging a 3:1 patient ratio, with some pediatrics included. You will be responsible for IV starts, medication administration, and assisting with sedations. The shift runs from 1 PM to 1 AM, covering 36 hours per week. The unit boasts modern equipment like Alaris pumps and uses Meditech EMR, making your workflow seamless. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a sizable hospital setting, with a supportive team of over 130 staff members, all while enjoying a busy yet rewarding emergency room experience.
