Job Description:

This perfusionist role involves providing critical support in a surgical setting, primarily focusing on heart cases with approximately 1-2 procedures scheduled daily. The leader will coordinate needs with the surgical team, especially during call periods that occur roughly every other weekend. Expect to work an average of 38 to 40 hours per week, with responsibilities centered on assisting the surgical team during complex procedures. The environment includes a dedicated surgeon on-site and a few PRNs to share the workload. This assignment offers a hands-on opportunity to be directly involved in life-saving operations, making each day uniquely impactful.
