Job Description:

Join our reputable healthcare team for a 13-week contract as an RN in the Med Surg ICU at Mercy Hospital Fort Smith. This night shift position involves caring for a diverse patient population on a mixed unit that includes neuro, CV, and surgical cases, primarily medical in nature. You will work a 12-hour night shift, providing direct patient care with a focus on safety, utilizing advanced equipment like vents, hemodynamics, and CRRT. The role offers an engaging environment where you'll navigate complex cases and collaborate with a team committed to compassionate care. Certification requirements include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and a minimum of two years’ experience. This assignment is ideal for experienced nurses who excel in fast-paced settings and are comfortable performing medication and math competency tests prior to medication administration.
