Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment provides the opportunity to work as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in an acute care setting with floating responsibilities across various units, including medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, and specialty units like nephrology and orthopedics. The role involves 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a 30-minute lunch break. Expect to be assigned to different units based on staffing needs, offering a chance to diversify your experience while contributing to patient care in a bustling hospital environment. BLS certification is required, along with at least two years of relevant experience in a comparable acuity hospital. Cerner EMR experience is essential, and active unencumbered Tennessee or multi-state RN license is mandatory. First-time travelers will be considered, and weekend work is required every other week. Expect to wear royal blue scrubs and to handle varied patient ratios, typically around 1:6, depending on the unit.
