Job Description:

This speech-language pathologist role involves providing comprehensive evaluations and therapeutic services for pediatric outpatients. You will conduct speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing assessments, utilizing electronic medical records to document progress. The position is primarily in an inpatient setting with some outpatient duties, operating during standard business hours (8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday). Shared responsibilities include floating to different units or departments as needed. Expect a focus on hands-on evaluation and therapy, with a structured orientation program including EMR training and departmental onboarding. Clinicians previously employed by Sanford Health must have ended their prior engagement at least six months before applying. A professional and business casual dress code is maintained, and badge-in/out procedures are mandatory for access. Note: local travelers with permanent addresses within 80 miles are not accepted at this facility.
