Job Description:

This 16-week travel RN opportunity places you on a 12-hour day shift at a 32-bed surgical and medical-surgical unit in Schenectady, NY. You'll be working with patients suffering from advanced pulmonary conditions like pneumonia and COPD, managing IV infusions, ventilators, and assisting with respiratory support tools such as BiPAP and CPAP. The role requires a minimum of two years’ specialty experience, BLS certification, and valid NYS licensure. Expect to float within your skill set to different units as needed, and be part of a team that handles high-acuity cases with a focus on patients requiring specialized pulmonary nursing care. No self-scheduling; staffing will be based on the facility’s needs.
