Job Description:

Join the cardiac surgical team as a First Assistant Tech at St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work on a busy OR floor with 15 operating rooms and a staff of 120 professionals. You'll assist during a variety of procedures including general surgery, urology, GYN, spine, neuro, ortho, robotics, and vascular surgeries. The shift consists of 12-hour days, providing a balanced schedule while giving you a chance to develop expert-level skills in cardiac and other complex surgical cases. Be prepared for on-call shifts (4-5 times a month) and weekend work as needed. Your experience with at least two years as a First Assist and holding certifications such as CSFA or CFA will ensure you fit right in and excel in this environment. This role is perfect for those who thrive in fast-paced surgical settings and enjoy teamwork during critical moments in the OR.
