Job Description:

Join a dedicated Women’s Services unit in Meridian, Idaho, for a 13-week travel assignment. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, circulating in a busy Labor & Delivery ward with approximately 120 births per month. As part of the team, you'll handle laboring patients at or beyond 32 weeks, assist with elective and medical inductions, and support postpartum care and well newborns. The setting is well-equipped, with OR suites for Cesarean sections, postpartum beds, triage beds, and round-the-clock OB hospitalist, neonatologist, and anesthesia coverage. You'll be expected to follow AWHONN guidelines for staffing ratios and possess certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN fetal monitoring. Experience in L&D, postpartum, and circulating skills are essential, with triage experience preferred. Responsibilities include titrating drips like Pitocin, managing stable antepartum and postpartum patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
