Job Description:

Join a prestigious hospital as a CVICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Dayton, Ohio. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), providing specialized care to cardiac surgery patients. You will gain experience with advanced procedures such as Impella support, post-cardiac surgeries (both directly from the OR and non-OR cases), and pre/post cardiac catheterization interventions. The unit is often busy, with patient ratios of 1:2, and requires precise monitoring of Pulmonary Artery Lines and Swan Ganz catheters. Floating between multiple campuses—including Dayton's main hospital, Centerville, and Englewood—is expected, so flexibility is essential. This assignment offers exposure to complex cases in a fast-paced cardiac environment, ideal for experienced CVICU nurses looking to sharpen their skills in a challenging setting.
