Job Description:

This MRI Technician role is based at a renowned tertiary care hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, known for its teaching excellence and recognition as a Magnet hospital. The position involves performing advanced magnetic resonance imaging procedures, including MRA, MRV, and cardiac MRI, across a variety of clinical settings such as ICU, outpatient, and acute care units. You will work a 12-hour day shift from 06:00 to 18:30, with a schedule of three shifts per week for a total of 36 hours weekly over a 13-week contract. Expect to participate in on-call duties once a week during overnight hours, and you may be required to float between departments to meet facility needs. This assignment offers a lively work environment where your expertise in contrast media preparation, radiation safety, and adult imaging techniques will be essential.
