Job Description:
Join a team of skilled Respiratory Therapists in Shreveport for a 13-week travel assignment that covers all four local campuses. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, providing support across ED, ICU, Stepdown, Med/Tele, NICU, PICU, and high-risk delivery units. This role offers a chance to showcase your expertise in high-risk neonatal deliveries, airway management, and ventilator support, all while experiencing the vibrant Louisiana atmosphere. Expect to support neonates, adults, and high-acuity patients while floating between facilities, making each shift uniquely challenging and rewarding. Bring your experience supporting NICU/PICU teams and managing complex airway situations—this isn't your average respiratory therapy job, but a chance to be at the forefront of critical care during busy nights.
Weather:
Typically, the weather during this time of year is mild and pleasant, with warm days and cooler evenings. It’s a comfortable climate ideal for outdoor activities and exploring the local scenery after shifts.
Fun Things To Do:
- Louisiana Boardwalk: Enjoy shopping, dining, and entertainment with scenic river views.
- Red Riverboat Cruise: Take a historical boat ride along the Red River for a relaxing day out.
- Outdoor Adventure at Caddo Lake: Just a short trip away for fishing, kayaking, and bird watching.
- Barksdale Historic District: Explore local history, architecture, and quaint cafes.
- Hiking at Cross Lake: Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts wanting a nature escape.

Orientation includes two days of system-wide training, and on-site support is available from a dedicated team of supervisors and educators.
