Job Description:

This 11-week travel contract offers a chance to work night shifts in a vibrant hospital setting in Iron Mountain, Michigan. As a registered nurse on the Med Tele floor, you'll be handling a variety of inpatient cases, including surgeries, sepsis, and complex diagnoses such as COPD and UTI. The role features a patient ratio of 5:1 during the day and 6:1 at night, with opportunities to serve as relief charge nurse. Your expertise with IV starts, telemetry, and acute care will be essential, especially given limited onsite resources and the absence of an IV team. Expect to work with a collaborative team, including LPNs and nurse aids, in a fast-paced environment that demands adaptability and clinical confidence.
