Job Description:

This travel nursing role in Rapid City offers an engaging opportunity for registered nurses experienced in critical care to work in a PACU setting. You'll assist with patient recovery after various procedures, including Endo prep and discharge, handling a diverse patient population from infants to geriatrics. Expect to manage patients in both pre-op and post-op stages, sometimes boarding for full recovery when inpatient beds are full. The role involves night shifts working 10 hours (from 7:30 pm to 7:00 am), with a 13-week contract designed for experienced Critical Care RNs comfortable with ventilated patients, hemodynamic monitoring, and invasive procedures. It’s a chance to refine your skills within a well-supported team, with orientation spanning all departments to help you settle into this dynamic environment.
