Job Description:

Join the inpatient Medical and Pediatrics unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for a 13-week travel RN contract. This position involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with the opportunity to float across all inpatient units as needed. You'll experience a role that keeps you engaged through a mix of adult medical conditions such as respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological issues, and infections, all handled without the responsibilities of pediatric patient care. Expect to work in a fast-paced environment where resilience, independence, and teamwork are key. As part of your shift, you'll manage an average patient ratio of 1:4-7, providing essential care and support to patients navigating complex health challenges. The hospital’s setting is patient-focused, with a focus on delivering quality care in a supportive atmosphere, all while embracing the unique rhythm of night shifts that can keep you alert and engaged.
