Job Description:

This RN position in the emergency department at a Level 2 trauma center offers a chance to work in a busy, fast-paced environment that handles a wide spectrum of cases, from minor injuries to critical trauma. You will be responsible for triaging, prioritizing, and managing care for neonates through geriatrics, including patients with sepsis, respiratory illnesses, GI bleeds, strokes, and traumatic injuries. The role involves supporting sexual assault evidence collection, with guidance provided, and floating between ED, ICU, and inpatient areas as needed. Expect a schedule comprising various shift times, including days, evenings, and nights, with some weekends and potential holiday coverage. The focus is on delivering expert care in a collaborative setting, making this assignment both challenging and rewarding.
