Job Description:

Join our team as an Ortho Registered Nurse in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and be part of a specialized orthopedic/spine unit with medical overflow. This 13-week travel contract involves working 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM), with a focus on orthopedic and spine care. The unit has 30 beds and accepts first-time travelers, offering a chance to experience the rewarding challenge of working with a dedicated team. Ratios are approximately 1:5-6, with weekend rotations every other week. You will work within the EPIC documentation system and be responsible for providing quality patient care in a fast-paced, yet supportive environment. Certifications required include BLS, and some float coverage is expected within your scope of practice. The setting emphasizes collaboration, and this placement provides a unique opportunity to develop your orthopedic nursing skills in a setting that values professionalism and adaptability.
