Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of registered nurses in a challenging and rewarding Post-Cath Unit (PCU) setting within a prominent non-profit community hospital. This 13-week travel assignment involves 12-hour day shifts, where you'll manage a diverse patient population including cardiovascular, oncology, and general medical cases. Expect to perform complex procedures such as post-stent monitoring, chest tube management, and titratable drips like diltiazem and heparin. A familiarity with cardiac rhythms, especially interpreting ECGs and monitoring high-flow oxygen patients, is essential. You'll be working alongside a high volume of Spanish-speaking and underserved communities, providing compassionate and comprehensive care in a collaborative environment. Whether you're experienced with PCI pre/post care or handling post-cath patients, this role offers a unique opportunity to sharpen your skills and make a meaningful impact. The hospital's Epic EMR system and floating assignments within the hospital ensure a dynamic and engaging work experience.
