Job Description:

Step into a stimulating role within the Cardiac Renal Unit at Deaconess Midtown, where you'll provide specialized RN care during 12-hour night shifts. This assignment focuses on high-acuity telemetry and cardiac heavy patient populations, including those with arrhythmias, post-catheterization, or on drips like antiarrhythmics and anticoagulants. Expect to interpret 12-lead EKGs, manage complex drips, and perform PIV insertions in a fast-paced environment. Unique to this assignment is the opportunity to rotate between two campuses—Midtown and Newburgh—offering varied patient populations and work settings. You’ll contribute your skills to a well-established team in a teaching hospital while enjoying the challenge of managing critically ill cardiac and renal patients.

Job Specifics:

Location: Evansville, Indiana – 600 Mary Street. Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly hours: 36 hours. Compensation: Estimated gross weekly pay of $1,927.21, with guaranteed hours and potential overtime after 52 hours on the 48-hour contracts.
