Job Description:

Join our team as an Operating Room RN First Assistant in Allegan, Michigan, and experience the fast-paced, hands-on world of surgical assistance in a hospital with a supportive environment. This role involves working in a well-equipped 2-room OR within an acute care setting, where you'll provide critical support across a variety of surgical specialties including general, ortho, neuro, ENT, vascular, urology, and robotic procedures. Your responsibilities will include tissue handling, vessel ligation, drainage tube placement, suturing, and assisting the surgeon throughout procedures. This position offers a balanced schedule with 10-hour days, no weekends or holidays, and the flexibility to float between Allegan and Dowagiac locations as needed, supporting your work-life balance while keeping the work varied and interesting.

This assignment involves floating between Allegan and Dowagiac, supporting a vibrant OR team, and performing RNFA duties in a variety of surgical procedures to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient support.
