Job Description:

Join us for a 13-week contract in Torrance, California, as a PACU Registered Nurse, where you'll be part of a lively post-anesthesia care team. You'll handle a diverse caseload ranging from pediatric to adult patients, post-surgical, cath lab, and discharge patients. Your day will include caring for patients in Phase II recovery, ensuring smooth transitions from surgery to discharge. The shift runs five days a week from 06:00 to 14:30, with an average weekly gross pay of $1,999.13. This role is fit for those with at least one year of PACU experience, ideally combined with ER or ICU background, and holding current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Experience with Cerner, Phase II, and discharge procedures will set you apart. No floating or on-call duties are expected, and weekends include every other weekend work.
