Job Description:

Step into a critical role as an ICU Registered Nurse in Columbia, Missouri, where you'll be providing advanced care to patients with complex conditions like sepsis, multi-system organ failure, and trauma injuries. This 13-week contract involves 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, offering a steady rhythm for those who thrive during overnight hours. Job Specifics:

Location: Columbia, Missouri. Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30). Duration: 13 weeks with a commitment of approximately 36 hours per week. The role involves float responsibilities outside of ICU to the Adult Medical-Surgical Cluster, caring for patients with diverse diagnoses such as trauma, burns, GSW, necrotizing fasciitis, and postoperative care for surgeries like AAA repair and carotid endarterectomy. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required, with a guaranteed work of at least 50% of holidays during the contract. The physical demands include active movement, reaching, and lifting, alongside working in a healthcare environment open 24/7, requiring resilience and adaptability.
