Job Description:

Join a specialized neuro and intermediate medical unit in Charlotte, NC, for a 20-week travel contract working 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. This role involves titrating IV medications like LEVO, managing neurological conditions such as CVA, aneurysms, and post-surgical patients, and coordinating care for complex patients requiring telemetry and respiratory support. You’ll need a collaborative approach to meet the unit’s behavioral expectations, adhere strictly to call-off policies, and demonstrate proficiency in advanced skills including dysrhythmia management, neurological monitoring, and multiple IV therapies. Expect to work alongside a dedicated team managing a patient census of up to 24 with a 1:4 staff ratio. The assignment emphasizes technical expertise in neuro patient care, emergency response, and medication titration in a fast-paced environment where teamwork is key.
