Job Description:

Join a dedicated Labor and Delivery team as a Registered Nurse (RN/L&D) in a busy hospital unit that combines antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care in one space. This 13-week travel contract offers 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, where you'll manage a variety of obstetrical cases, assist with high-risk deliveries, and support new families during their postpartum journey. Your skills will be vital in monitoring fetal health with external and internal monitors, administering medications like magnesium sulfate and Pitocin, and aiding in procedures such as cesarean sections and vacuum extractions. Expect to work with a team that values your expertise in handling patient acuity levels that vary from low to high, often requiring step-in support across postpartum and labor units. This role is ideal for experienced L&D nurses eager to make an impact in a fast-paced, multifaceted setting that bridges multiple facets of maternal care.
