Job Description:

This ICU RN contract offers a chance to work in a vibrant hospital setting, focusing on critically ill patients with a diverse caseload that includes CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, and post-catheterization patients. You’ll be providing bedside nursing on a 12-hour night shift, ensuring safe patient monitoring and administering various drips such as diltiazem and heparin while managing chest tubes, wound vacs, and dressings. The role also involves observing femoral arterial sheaths and monitoring patients with art line, Impella, and IABP devices. This assignment is perfect for nurses who thrive on a mix of technical skills and patient variability, with the opportunity to get hands-on experience in both ICU and step-down units at a well-respected, non-profit community hospital.
