Job Description:

Join a reputable neuro medical-surgical unit as a travel RN for a 13-week assignment in Peoria, Illinois. This role involves 12-hour night shifts caring for stroke, spine surgery, seizure, brain tumor, head injury, and neuroscience patients. You’ll work alongside experienced team members, managing patient loads with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6, and be responsible for titrating heparin drips based on PTT levels. Your expertise in trauma and previous travel experience on dedicated neuro units are essential. Expect a structured schedule with weekend and holiday rotations, and enjoy comprehensive orientation to get you acclimated quickly.
