Job Description:
Join us for an exciting 13-week contract at a bustling short-term acute care hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where you’ll be working as a respiratory therapy professional in a Level II Trauma Center. This role involves 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, supporting neonatal ICU (NICU) and pediatric units. You'll be floating between two campuses, gaining a diverse experience that keeps your skills sharp and your workday interesting. If you enjoy a mix of routine and a little unpredictability, this assignment is a perfect fit, with opportunities to orient new staff and support various hospital needs. Your expertise with Draeger vents and level 2 trauma experience will be essential in providing high-quality respiratory care in a fast-paced environment. Expect to work every other weekend and holiday shifts, with a weekly commitment of 48 hours.

Location: Bridgeport, Connecticut
Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Weekly Hours: 48 hours
Scope Includes: Floating between hospital campuses, working in NICU and Pediatric units, supporting all hospital units as needed, and potentially orienting new hires. Prior experience with Draeger vents, level 2 trauma, and CRT or RRT license are required. BLS certification is also mandatory. This role offers the flexibility of supporting a busy hospital environment and developing a broad range of clinical skills while working within the Yale New Haven Health System.
