Job Description:

This ICU Registered Nurse contract offers a chance to work in a 16-bed neuro unit within a 310-bed hospital. You'll handle complex cases such as post-op valve patients, CABG, Impella, IABP, and CRRT, all while working a 12-hour night shift. The role requires expertise in interpreting EKG strips, ventilator management, and advanced cardiac life support. With a focus on targeted patient ratios—1:2 for critical care and 1:3 for intermediate—you'll be integral to a team delivering specialized, family-centered care in a Level III trauma center. Unique to this assignment is the opportunity to float across multiple units, including high-risk respiratory/COVID units, providing a varied and engaging experience for those ready to take on diverse challenges.
