Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week contract in Grand Island, Nebraska, as a registered nurse in the Medical Surgical Cardiac ICU. This role offers the chance to work a 12-hour night shift, providing direct care to a diverse patient population ranging from young adults to geriatrics. Your day-to-day will involve managing complex cases such as sepsis, STEMI, COVID, stroke, neurosurgery, and renal failure, among others. The unit emphasizes bedside shift reports and hourly rounding, requiring critical thinking and adaptability. You'll have the opportunity to work with advanced equipment like vents, balloon pumps, and neuro monitoring systems, and will titrate drips such as sedatives and pressors. This is a fast-paced, resource-rich environment where asking questions and seeking learning opportunities are encouraged.
