Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of respiratory care professionals in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for a 13-week contract focusing on adult intubation and respiratory support in a busy hospital setting. This role involves nightshift work, with 12-hour shifts from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 3 a.m., providing an opportunity to hone advanced skills and collaborate with a skilled team to deliver patient-centered respiratory care. The position emphasizes working with a diverse adult patient population, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, and following detailed protocols within a 250-bed hospital. The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of experience and hold current credentials such as BLS, RRT, ACLS, and NRP. The work environment fosters continuous learning, with up to three weeks of department-specific training and orientation, including Epic EMR training. Be prepared to float to other units and work every other weekend, ensuring a varied and fulfilling experience.
