Job Description:

Join us for a 13-week contract as a PACU RN at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wisconsin. This role offers the opportunity to work 10-hour days, providing care and support in the post-anesthesia recovery unit. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and stabilizing patients recovering from a variety of surgeries, including general, spine, neuro, GI, ENT, cardiac, PV, and ortho. The unit features a 1:2 patient ratio across 14 bays, with a focus on efficient, compassionate care. You'll be working with recent hospital experience, especially in post-cardiac and pediatric recovery, utilizing electronic charting systems like Epic or similar platforms. The schedule involves rotating weekends and holidays, with on-call responsibilities every fifth weekend and one night per week, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.
