Job Description:

Join a dedicated surgical team in Redwood City for a 13-week contract as an Operating Room nurse. This role offers a chance to work across a variety of specialties, including orthopedic, neuro, and gynecological surgeries, in a well-organized environment that values precision and expertise. You'll be performing circulating duties with some scrub activity encouraged but not required—perfect if you enjoy a diverse and fast-paced surgical setting. The average caseload is 15-25 cases daily, with a focus on higher acuity procedures like joint replacements, spine surgeries, and some robotics, all carried out by experienced anesthesiologists. You'll follow specific processes tailored to this hospital’s operating rooms, ensuring smooth workflows and patient safety. Although the schedule is variable, it provides a balance of work and rest, with no evening shifts or weekend commitments beyond the call shift once a week. If you have at least two years of OR experience and familiarity with Cerner Surginet, this assignment offers an engaging surgical environment with a supportive team.
