Job Description:

Join our team as a Surgical First Assist specializing in cardiac procedures in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves supporting complex surgeries such as CABG, AVR, and MV repair or replacement, working directly under the supervision of attending physicians. Your expertise will help ensure safe operations and optimal outcomes for patients undergoing cardiac surgery. You’ll be assisting with intraoperative tasks like exposure, hemostasis, and closure, as well as preoperative and postoperative responsibilities to facilitate patient needs during the perioperative period. This is a hands-on, technical role suited to individuals who are capable of covering regional call, including coverage for transplant procedures, requiring travel by land, air, and sea.
