Job Description:

Step into a rewarding ICU nursing role at a Level III Trauma Center in Puyallup, WA. This 14-week contract offers a chance to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity Medical Surgical ICU with all rooms equipped for negative airflow. As part of this team, you'll manage a mix of COVID and non-COVID critical patients, handling respiratory failure, GI bleeds, sepsis, and post-operative care, all while honing your skills in invasive line management, vent/trach care, and rhythm interpretation. The unit is supported by specialized staff, including charge nurses, health unit coordinators, and on-site intensivists, ensuring a collaborative environment. Unique to this assignment is the visibility into cutting-edge therapies like CRRT and hypothermia protocols, all within a facility committed to safety and innovation.
