Job Description:

Join the team at Waukesha Memorial Hospital for a rewarding 13-week contract working in their Intermediate Care Unit. You’ll be providing essential cardiac and medical care to a diverse patient population, including those recovering from heart surgery, dealing with arrhythmias, or experiencing respiratory failure. The role offers 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend and holiday rotations, and the chance to apply your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Expect to interpret rhythms confidently, manage a patient load of 4-5 on the night shift, and float to different units as needed—bringing resilience, adaptability, and a team-first attitude. This contract is tailored for experienced cardiac nurses or ICU RNs comfortable with patient ratios of 1:4-5, and who have prior short-term acute care hospital experience.
