Job Description:

This critical care ICU contract in Grafton, WI, offers a unique opportunity to work in a Level III Trauma Center with 136 beds, including a 17-bed ICU and a Level II NICU. The role involves night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on a 12-hour schedule for 13 weeks. You'll be managing a variety of complex patient cases, including sepsis, stroke, post-surgical recovery, and cardiac patients, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 and support from an intensivist 24/7. Experience with ventilator management, invasive lines, CRRT (NxStage), and post-cath care is required. The role provides comprehensive orientation, including one day with an educator and the remainder with a preceptor. Certification requirements include BLS and ACLS, with preferred NIHSS. This assignment offers a chance to showcase your ICU expertise in a fast-paced, supportive environment while utilizing EPIC and other modern equipment.
