Job Description

Join an operating-room travel assignment in Santa Maria, California, supporting a broad surgical schedule that includes laparoscopic, bariatric, orthopedic, neurological, urological, gynecological, and ENT cases. This role is suited for an experienced OR professional comfortable working with surgical teams, variable case needs, and call coverage.

The assignment includes 10-hour day shifts, holiday coverage, and shared call responsibilities that may include nights and weekends. A 30-minute call response time is required. The facility uses Cerner, Phillips equipment, Steris, and Sterrad systems. Travelers should hold current ACLS and BLS certifications; CST certification is preferred for surgical technologists, with IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification applicable to sterile processing responsibilities.
