Job Description

Take your next travel assignment to Winston-Salem as a PCU Registered Nurse supporting a mixed-acuity unit caring for patients with COPD exacerbations, pneumonia, acute respiratory failure, pulmonary embolisms, chest tubes, and complex respiratory needs. This 12-hour night assignment includes telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV starts, vents, trachs, and CPAP/BiPAP support. You will work alongside respiratory therapists, a team lead, an assistant nurse manager, and specialized support teams while floating to like units as needed.

The unit uses EPIC, Pyxis, and SBAR, with a 24-hour orientation. Weekend coverage is every other weekend. Required credentials include ACLS and BLS, with NIHSS preferred. Previous travel experience and at least two years of experience are required.
