Job Description:

This travel ICU registered nurse assignment in Omaha supports adult and pediatric patients over age 15 in a fast-paced medical-surgical ICU. You will care for patients with complex conditions such as respiratory failure, ARDS, sepsis, stroke, cardiogenic shock, renal failure, surgical complications, and gastrointestinal bleeds. The role includes titrating vasopressors, paralytics, sedation, narcotics, and antiarrhythmics; interpreting centralized telemetry; managing ventilator-related care from nasal cannula through ventilator support; and responding to rapid response events and codes with the care team. The schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts, with every-other-weekend coverage and floating to inpatient units as needed, excluding Maternity and NICU. Two orientation shifts and supportive real-time training are provided for select advanced procedures and equipment.
