Job Description:

Provide skilled medical-surgical nursing care during a 13-week travel assignment in Evansville. You will care for post-surgical and medically complex patients, including those experiencing urinary tract infections, sepsis, COPD, CHF, and high fall risk. This role includes managing remote telemetry, chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, drains and catheters, ostomies, heparin drips, blood products, tracheostomies, and PCA equipment. The assignment features 12-hour day shifts, cross-campus floating within your skill set, and the opportunity to work in a teaching setting where precepting students or new hires may be part of the experience. A little professional flexibility goes a long way on this assignment.

Location: Evansville, Indiana
Shift: 12-hour days, 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements: Two years of strong medical-surgical experience, one prior travel assignment, Level II trauma experience, recent EPIC experience, an active compact license, AHA BLS, and NIHSS certification.
